GeckoReader is a program to be run under Windows that will open a command prompt and output what it reads from a USB gecko. You must have the USB gecko installed, set up the COM drivers, and have .NET 2.0 for this to work properly. Then whatever buffer is sent from the Wii/Gamecube should pop up on the screen.
Also included is libgecko. It is a very small lib that you can link your programs with that should aid in debugging. Just link this in the makefile with -lgecko and put the .a and .h files in their directories in your devkit folder. Since this is a wrapper for the libogc functions, you need to link that as well. Or you can just copy the .c and .h files to your project and #include them. The gecko must be in slot B.
Quote:
v1.0
* Alternate methods to determine COM port (including WIILOAD environment variable and user entry)
* Different methods to control the output, like clear window, log to output file, include timestamps, and more
* Send a file (with optional arguments) to the Wii
* Quick resend the previous send file including arguments, easy for testing
* Possibility to send a file from the Wii to the PC, when using libgecko.a
* Textual progressbar when sending or receiving data
MegaCodeDownloader is a cheat code downloader for the Wii. The project is currently being maintained by tpw_rules but was previously maintained by Megazig.
Note to those using network play: the network connection broker requires the latest version of Frodo, so please upgrade if you plan to use the network support!
c64-network.org is a Commodore 64 emulator written by Christian Bauer (The Official Frodo Home Page). It was ported to the Wii by Simon Kagstrom, and many C64 games are fully playable on the Wii with it. So go ahead and beat your friends in International Karate, Boulder Dash or Bomb Jack. This version is not the same as Troy Davis implementation, but Troys work is available in a branch in the subversion tree.
The emulator works best in 480i mode. It runs perfectly fine in 576i mode as well, but does not utilize the full resolution. This is an SDL issue, and will not be fixed until SDL-Port supports it. Sound support is slightly buggy, but usable. The emulation itself is not perfect, so not all games will run under Frodo. Unfortunately, I cannot do very much about this since I haven't written the emulator - just ported it. If you have multiple versions of a game, try each of them as often at least one will work.
v1 (C64-network.org)
* Sound support for the network play
* New GUI
* Screenshot saving and game info
* All compile-time warnings have been fixed
* Much improved Linux support
* A million small changes here and there, basically all of the code is touched!
* (For the RC): Only wiimote is supported, not the classic controller or the nunchuk
* (For the RC): Please submit new GUI themes!
* Note: The directory for games has been moved to /frodo on the SD card root, so move all your d64 and t64's there.
* Fixed issue where it was possible to get billions of points due to Bonus Yahtzee points in the upper section not being removed properly when move was undone. (thanks Ricky de Jong)
* Removed occasional graphical glitch affecting Painted Yahtzee rules.
