Default Golden Dot Units?

So apparently the wiizard modchip has a new firmware for the d2e.

However, it doesnt work for golden dot units. what do they mean by golden dot units?

also, is the d2e firmware backwards compatible with all previous drives? (dms -d2c2)

and since the new firmware doesnt work for golden dot units, is there anyway to revert back to the previous firmware?

I think the golden dots units are the allready d2e compatible ones (new batch). Since on these the the chances are made on the actell directly the stuff can get corrupted if you tried to update the flash with a bin that patches the actell.

http://www.wiizardmod.com/advanced.jpg --- it's enough clear what a golden dot unit is ... it includes D2E support from factor.

If you read the .txt inside the Disc Upgrade .RAR file it explains how the upgrade process is done replacing the D2C2 firmware for the newest D2E one,it means that you need to select the drive like D2C2 after finish the upgrade so it works with a new D2E .. of course it's not needed on the newest "golden dot" units and you only need to short C&D over them

D2E upgrade disc includes all the fw (D2A/DMS/D2B/D2C) excepting th D2C2 which is replaced to use the first batch with D2E support

Please, read any comment or txt file inside the upgrade files before make any process
