I have colleted a several wiimotes over the pass few months. I have been looking for a general repair guide for them. Does anyone know where one is? all I keep finding is the $19.99 offer from repairwii...sigh.

Have anything specific as to what is wrong with them? I can prob write up a guide in my free time since I have fixed about a dozen of wiimotes due to people trying to do player indicator mods and other such things to them. The only problem with this is my free time is a bit lacking due to the unbricking and media center projects that I am working on.

the most common problem I am having is the sensitivity. Like for example, pick a golf game, try to putt and it will act like you just drove the ball as hard as you can. I have tried with fresh batteries, no outside light sorce interference, no radio issues. No clue one what it is, I have been probing the pcb and everything appears to be normal.

With the batteries, tested in bad wiimote then pulled and tested in good wiimote.

if it is a sensitivity problem that sounds more like an accelerometer than a button issue in which case you would need to pull it off the board, actually locate new ones and replace them. not sure you can replace those and actually make $$$ or even break even depending if you can actually get the chips.

i think i read somewhere that it is a general wiimote issue being horrible at golf games. so your wiimotes may not be broken at all.

That sounds like a broken wire. open the wiimote and look to see if one of the wires are disconnected then resolder.
