what does smd 0603 leds mean?

If you drop one on the floor, thats it, its gone. heh, you have to use tweezers to handle them they are so tiny and need a maginifying glass to see the direction printed on the bottom!
For removing them, just use 2 soldering irons, works AWSOME SUPER EASY!

for removing them i just bath them in solder and that works too
