This is the best package I have seen on Homebrew to date. Easy to follow, loads everything you need and makes it unbelievably simple. I joined this site for the sole reason of replying to this thread to mention how great it is.

Excellent work, my friend. Thanks a million.

Just to clarify - for the backup channel update, do I need to put the BackupChannel.wad from the V2 zip on my SD card and then load that? And what does the new backup loader fix/add? Just curious.

Also, I noticed you removed the WiiBrickBlocker from the V2 zip. Any reason why? Should I not be using it?

One final note on Step 8. My Wii is version 3.3U and I needed to complete step 8f, "Additional steps for Wii firmware 3.4" in order to successfully install the backup loader. You may want to update your guide to reference that it should be version 3.3U and 3.4.

That's all for now. Thanks again!

It has to be Zelda and it has to be an official copy (not burned).

Thanks for this great package! I see v. 1.0.1 of Homebrew Channel is out. Can I just replace the boot.dol from the package with the newer version? Thanks again!

Update instructions:

The easiest way to update is using the built-in Online Update
functionality. Simply configure the WiFi network settings for your Wii for
proper Internet connectivity, and boot up the channel. If the connection is
established, you'll see an opaque white (not semitransparent) world icon
in the lower right corner, and an update prompt will automatically appear.
Accept it to begin downloading the update.

If you cannot or do not want to connect your Wii to the Internet, simply run the boot.dol file using any homebrew booting method. For example, you can upload it using wiiload or you can make a directory inside /apps (for example, /apps/Update) and copy boot.dol there. Then, simply run it from the previous version of the channel.
So the answer is yes you can replace the boot.dol file if you Wii is not connected to Internet, but you will have to do the Twilight Hack again in order to apply the modification.
