Default Newly Chipped Wii, What should i install?

Hii,
I have just chipped my Wii with a Wiikey V2.

I'm wondering what home brew i should install for my Wii. I am mostly wanting to play backup games and personalize my Wii with different banners, different sounds etc. Just basic personalizing... I'm not really into emulators or other stuff... Just Wii games and personalizing.

My Wii is Ver 3.4E and its PAL region.

My Wiikey has been updated with something called...
"Wiikey 2 Update/Config Combined Disc v1.2 - Asgard Core"

What home brew should i install to fulfill the stuff i want to do? If you can give me the names of the home brew and links to good installation pages, that would be very helpful.

If you are going to be running homebrew you need the uniiloader for games to backup to Harddrive. Once you have it installed you'll be wondering why you got the modchip installed, as you wont be using it.

Homebrew channel (also known as HBC) and GeckoOS.

HBC is like the windows for wii, most homebrew will need HBC to load (GUI)

GeckoOS will let you play diff region games without brickblocking etc (1:1 copys) and without updating your wii (3.2 is preferred amongst most). You can also load cheats with GeckoOS.

And a downgrader if you want to ... downgrade.

If you downgrade to 3.2 and have kids around. Use the wiikey config disk to turn off local and import updates. Most Nintendo updates try to kill homebrew. As for customization, well their hasnt been much devlopment (everybody was scared of NAND corruption) but with the release of bootmii; i think their should lots of ppl diving in deep soon . Check out http://wiibrew.org/ for media players etc.

Dont listen to the muppet above, he just has a raging hardon for the uniiloader atm.
