Hi,

I am a complete n00b at this, I have firmware 3.3u and followed the newbie guide I found here and installed a few channels.

I have Home Brew, Wii Backup, GC Backup and launcher channels (+ some VC WADs I put on).

I still have not gone online yet and my question is how safe is it? Will Nintendo ban me? Do I have to remove the hacks before going online?

you will be fine .. the only people ninty has banned from its online servers were the mario kart ocarina cheaters .. i've played online since day1 mod chip and day1 HomebrewChannel and no problems at all.
