(D2B wii with original wiikey)

My wii crapped itself a number of months ago. When I boot up the wii all I get is a black screen. I can do the BootmeFree method and I see 3.3u in the bottom right.

I was waiting for a game with a 3.4 update to come put to try and autoboot an update. I got a backup of mario power tennis and set it to autoboot but that doesn't work. I did manage to see a white screen telling to press the A button ONCE but it froze.

I read in a few places it may be my bluetooth module. Bought a new one and replaced it, still no luck. Can it be my wifi module?

The only thing that has any slight effect is my wiikey 1.9s config disc. When I put that in and boot using bootmeFree, the 3.3u appears, then disappears but nothing happens.

So am I screwed or is there any hope left?

you might wanna try to use a wad manager autoboot disk, and attempt to install System_Menu_289.wad through that. from what i have read, that file is v3.2 of the menu.... you might wanna do some more research into it... im lacking on sleep due to trying to fix a low level brick on my parents wii... that is a thought, if im wrong please correct me

Sorry to burst your bubble, buddy but it seems like your Wii has Hardware problems... Probably bad RAM chip.
