Default Green screen USB SD loader 1.4

Hi guys. Installed cIOS v10 and USB SD load 1.4. Got a PAL Wii 3.2E. Installed "Excite Truck" which is also PAL on SD but get only a "Green Screen" upon loading.

I have a Wiikey v1 mod chip and can run the game fine both using a back up DVD or using the Back up launcher (have also tried the same DVD back up on my m8s wii that I've soft modded with the back up launcher and the game loads fine).

Can anyone think of a reason why I'm getting a green screen only? Have also tried "installing" the game again. No change.

Haven't managed to try any other games as I don't currently own any USB flash drives. Only have a 1Gb SD card which won't really fit any other games I have except Excite Truck. Running the homebrew channel off the SD with the WBFS being on another partition of the SD. The loader can see the partition fine and even displays Excite Truck but I only get the green screen upon loading it.

Try changing the video mode when in the loader. I had the same problem as it was set to system video as defalt but when i changed it to game defalt it loaded fine.

Hope this helped.

Thanks for your reply. How do you change the video mode? I don't seem to have that option, but I have suspected that the video mode might be responsible here.

I also tried another game. Wii Chess (PAL). That loaded perfectly fine for me. Wonder what is up with Excite Truck.

Ahh ok. Good to hear. Thanks for both your replies. Btw mecoop I have tried the ultimate USB loader as well, as I already suspected the video mode to be an issue. Unfortunately the Ultimate USB loader is just that exactly. A USB loader only. I'm running off SD and that's not supported yet. Anyways, it's not a big deal or anything. I was only really doing this for experimental purposes. Good to hear things will be fixed soon though. I'm planning on getting a big USB HDD to house all my Wii Games. DVDs are just inconvenient
