while Installing waninkoko 4.o upddater..
It went through and at the end on shop channel it returned with error and then it ask to click anything to restart... I did and it stuck on black screen for a while so turned it off with off button on wii (redlight) .. and NOW when I turn on there is no signal on TV at all It's like there is nothing attached to TV... is there any hope? Please help?

What are my options? If it can't be fixed... can you replace just the motherboard or whatever it need to get it back. .. It's D2B with original wiikey installed couple of years back.

Exctally the same thing happend to me. I've managed to get savemiifrii working on it. and have a wiikey installed. but cannot get anything to boot.

I have managed to reload home brew chan. but cannot get the wiimote to work whilst in this state. so any downgrade apps I cannot use. some apps I can use via the game cube pad (home brew chan / dvdx ). but a lot I cannot. also I cannot auto boot any games at all so cannot boot an update game.

I am continueing to try fix. have tried soo much so far tho. all to no avail

if I find any more I will let you know asap. please do the same.

you need to take apart the gc controller and plug it into port 4 of the wii.
power up the wii. and turn it on. soon as the led goes green hold the 4 dpad buttons
from the GC pad. and you should get a screen with a number bottom left.

I'm on 3.2e still so can load homebrew chan using homebrew auto loader prog.

which I got from this page. http://*******.net/index.php?showtopic=123708

it should load it as long as got the HB chan already installed.

EDIT. sorry it wilnt let me paste the full link. to find the file google for

"Brick Fixing Disc's" Viewing Profile

with the " " marks. and it should be first found.

lol yup in the same boat. here is a list of things I've tried.

Cios Uninstallers. all the ones I can find need the wiimote to confirm. as wiimote dont work cannot click yes.

IOS Downgrader. same as above.

booting various games from recovery menu. with autoboot set to yes and no. and games I know with a newer update then the 3.2 I'm using. no game ever boots from revovery. the numbers disapear as they should. but never return.

I've even tried to alter some of the cios un/installers and re-compile. but I just hit loads of compile errors when trying (my knowledge of C++ is very very limited)

the "pink fish" recovery disk. this just refuses to boot. and yes useing regionfrii on it to turn to pal. and tryed with bootmii set. its just same as a game.

the Corp installer will go thou and try to install the ios's but they all fail.

unforuntally for now. I've ran out of ideas or things to try. so hopefully somebody else can view this and give us some new insight.

I have a feeling that the prob is with cios36_rev9 install.
as I didnt try to update. just tried to get the usb loader working.

things we have in common.

Original Wii Key installed.
D2B drive.
cios36_rev9 installed.

What I have managed tho. is to get the gamecube loader from wiigator working. using this I was able to load my wiikey config/firmware disks. and make sure that the wiikey is set to pal. and the settings allow autoboot and allow updates.

but it still wilnt let me boot any games/gc stuff from the recovery menu.

I'm surprised how come not many have had this issue before us... the thing is the gc pad i have is aftermarket wireless ones so not sure if that will work or not.. I have yet to try so can not confirm... If I have to but wired one does it have to be an official nintendo one or anyonther one should work?

The same exact thing happened to me. Error on the very last install item. I warned everybody about Wanikoko's update!

I sent it off to someone to be fixed.
