Default Hack for the Korean Wii?

Hello, I currently live in Korea and bought a Wii. I can't play any of my American games though because of the region code. Is there a hack available that doesn't require the Zelda game as that game isn't sold in Korea.

Thanks!

Use a modchip to boot a backup or import of zelda to install gecko os then all other games will be bootable through gecko os

can you not have one shipped to you? there are a lot of vendors on this site alone and I'm sure one of them would help you out.
good luck!

a lot of people will disagree, but the wiiclip has been great for me and I didn't have to solder a thing. I ordered it with the modchip presoldered from modchipcentral and all I had to do was open it up and plug it in

Thanks for your help!

some people feel that Wii-Clip does not give a good connection to the chip. the connection is not as good as a soldered connection, but should definately be good enough, as I rarely hear bad things about them.

Thanks for the help.

I'm nervous with opening it up though.. so think I'll wait until a software hack becomes available.

You really shouldnt be nervous about opening it. You'd have a hard time breaking something once you're in there and the clip is easy
