TP hack and wad installer 2.1

hi, i'm kinda new at this.

it's my first time using TP hack and wad installer.

anyway i guess i installed everything properly

but when i get to the guy in zelda and talk (after TP loading), it reads, but it doesn't install wad file.

it says
start cluster afselfaefaefke
start cluster afaefasefasdf

failed to read boot.elf (-1)!
no code found to load, hanging.

so my sd card directory is

/private/wii/title/RDZE/data.bin
/wad/mylifeasking.wad
boot.elf

wat am i doing wrong? i'm using the latest TP hack and wad 2.1

what ur doing wrong is haveing it in the same directory what u need to have it look like is this.....


/private/wii/title/RDZE/data.bin is correct at that point

then u need to have the boot.elf not in the same folder as private it needs to be on the outside... of all those folders.... and u need to make a folder called wad on the outside folder as well and then u put ur wad in that folder
/wad/mylifeasking.wad

u need to keep the boot elf in no folder it should be outside of all the folders like the wad folder... hope that helps

this is wat i have, boot.elf is outside the folder.

still getting the same messege

You might need to use that SD card format program. I had the same problem using Vista, used the formatter and everything worked.

hm..

i did format with windows xp..

i'm not supposed to use micro sd card? coud that be the problem? i don't have regular sd card to test it except micro sd..

and when i load TP hack, there's TPH0 and TPH2 in RDZE

in the loading screen in zelda, TPH0 gives me the false messege, and TPH2 gives me black screen..

and when i unzipped wad installer 2.1 there's 2 files.. wad installer.elf, and wad installer.dol

wat's wad installer.dol for?

and i found wad manager, but it gives me the same messege with TPH0

are u sure u have the right code of the region hack? and what is ur system menu? is 3.3? i dont think haveig a microsd card would matter aslong as u got a adapter to fit in it... i could be wrong but i think i saw a youtube video of someone with a microsd card but they had a adapter to make it sd

Without the adapter the micro card would just fall into the SD slot. There's no difference between microSD and SD besides size.

thx for the help, i still couldn't solve it.

so.. i'm just gonna buy it directly from nintendo server it's like 15 dollars. w/e

oh i'm using 3.2u with ntsc wii modded with d2pro, and some1 told me not to update.
