Gecko OS not loading

I have loaded the_homebrew_channel-beta_8.tar.gz using the twilight-hack-v0.1-beta1.zip

Homebrew channel loads ok when i run the Gecko OS 1.06d the loading bar stay on 0%

I am using a micro sd 2gb card fitting into a micro sd to sd converter
Will this affect the loading of the Gecko OS

I also have a GC card inserted into the GC ports on the wii
Will this affect the loading of the Gecko OS

yes, a gc memory card may cause the hbc to not load the applications, so just remove it
