Default Failed homebrew installation bricked my WII?

I installed d2pro and wii-clip last night. After the installation, everything works fine. I palyed two backup games for an hour, and then I tried to install homebrew by using TP hack. when the programme started, it showed reading errors and I turn off the WII. I formatted the SD and copy the boot file to SD and tried again, but still has an error. I did this three times but all failed.

After that, I insert the backup games, start, after the screen showed"fasten strap", the screen turn to black, and then said" The game disc cann't be read, please refer the operation manual for more information" , I rejected the disc and insert again, it is the same message. I changed another backup game which I can paly previously, but it is excat the same. i also tried wii sports, it also said" the game disc cann't be read............"

and then, I insert the d2pro utility disc and it works fine, and later, i burned a homebrew ISO disc and installed the homebrew successfully. but the backup games and wii sports still didn't work, still showed"the game disc cann't be read........"

My question is, was my Wii bricked? or the DVD drive has problem? I bought my wii last Aug and didn't paly much before yesterday.

Any help would be high appreciate!

PS, My wii is D2B with cut legs, version 3.1U. I used the latest TP Hack file.

You are not bricked it is something wrong with the Drive. You may need to run the D2Pro Utility Disc again and check all your settings. At first I was going to say Media Issues however you can't load the originals either.

I changed the speed to defalut 6x and it works. I think the WII's dvd drive is too picky.

Thanks for your reply.
