Exclamation how to remove duplicate channels?

I'm still new to all this wii hacking and modding. I was tring to play top spin 3 on a usa wii and it was pal which i changed the region on to usa and it wouldn't let me play unless I updated which I had already done threw wifi to the newst update 3.3u and when I did the update I now have 2 weather channels and 2 news channels. Is there a way to remove one of them I tried reformating that didn't work I know now that your not supposed to update wii with other region games so that won't happen again I did read some where I guess you use wii bricker or something like that to remove the update feature from the game so it don't make you do that when you use a different region I guess maybe wrong. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks

If you're legitimately importing out of region games, then use Gecko Loader, which is an open source import loader that runs out of the HBC or Twilight Hack. It'll automatically bypass the update partition so you don't have to worry about semi-bricking your wii.

There is a duplicate channel remover, but I believe it's made by Wanikoko and quite honestly I don't trust anything he's written within 10 feet of my wii.

The duplicate channel remover works fine according to most people that run it, stop worrying Frozen-Solid.

It might run fine according to "most people" but that doesn't mean I'm willing to give it a go. Use it at your own risk. Of course I'm also smart enough not to run an update from an out of region game so there you go.

duplicate channel remover v2 I found it a couple times and have tried to burn the iso and with nero says foreign image file, the entered block size doesn't correspond to the image length. The block size may be wrong. do you want to correct the value or ignore the problem? I have tried 2 different downloads for the iso and says the same thing. Can anyone point me in the correct dirrection of a working iso file or do i need to burn with different settings in nero? Also do you burn this to DVD or CD-r cause I've tried both.

If you got version 3.2 of your Wii, try using the TP hack and the wad file of the channel remover.
As Frozen-Solid say, all at own risk!

Well after some time reading posts and searching the net I did finally get the duplicate channels removed with the duplicate channel remover v2 elf file and using the zelda twilight hack to make it work. I have a wii with ver 3.3u os and a D2pro V2 w/ V4C wiiclip. Everything seems to be working just fine now.

I have the exact same issue as you.

I don't have a original or a copy of Zelda, is there another way of doing this? via bootable dvd?

Downloading a NTSC version of Zelda, but i'm not sure which serial it is.
