Default Installing with a modchip

I recently got my modchip installed and working (a d2cpro9 for the d2c2). I haven't gotten around to looking much at homebrew, but I know I want it. Given that I have a modchip, do I need to worry about the latest update? Or should I be scrambling to find a copy of Twilight so I can get it installed before I update.

I haven't been able to find clear instructions on this so far. Everything seems to indicate that if you have a modchip, you can install regardless.

Thanks.

Why do you want to update?Theres no benefit from updating.

You dont need zelda to install HBC if you have a modchip.Just download the HBC iso and burn to dvd.If you update to 3.3 before installing HBC, you can kiss homebrew goodbye.
