So I'm trying deperately to dump my wii games to my computer and I dont have an Lg drive. I have an SDgecko. So after countless tries and hours of reading, I'm giving up. I installed the hombrew channel, and it wont run SDDVD01g, saying its not a valid wii application. Does anyone know of an application that runs in HBC that does the samething, or of a way I can get SDDVD01g to work?
I have a D2A NTSC wii with a wasabi chip. Thank you!
The way that program works is in Gamecube mode. Although I'm not entirely sure, I don't think the HBC loads GC homebrew. Never fear, though. Download a GCOS (gamecube OS) .iso and load that up on the Wii. It's pretty easy from there to load the sddvd app (make sure it is on the sd gecko sd card, GCOS doesn't read front SD slot).

Thanks guys - I got it all (or mostly) figured out. I made it in a self booting disc. That resulted in a read disc error at 99% everytime. I installed a switch on my chip - turned chip on, fired up the self booting disc, turned chip off then dumped. Success.
Trying to drag and drop from Sd to my lapyop "Error: Invalid MS-DOS function". I couldn't figure that one out - even with research. Decided to put SD card in my sister's laptop - dragged and dropped no problem - weird.
Used HJsplit to combine final file was 3.99 GB (Okami). Its weird cuz it should be bigger. I popped the game in and played it for almost 2 hrs - no problems yet. We will see in the end....
My biggest concern now is the dragging and dropping onto my laptop with the MS-DOD invalid function...
