Default I'll pay big $$ for a N64 Controller to work with a Wii!!

I am looking for a skilled group of people to develop an N64 controller mod that works on the Wii.

This would basically have to work in the same way as a GC or classic controller. If anyone has interest in this please let me know. We have money to spend and want to get this project started ASAP.

Try lopping the end off a gc and n64 controller and attaching the gc end to the n64 controller

you might get somewhere.

checking data files, I found that the n64 controller contains a proprietary bi-directional data line, and so does the gc controller. just look at pinouts and compare.

I once built an interface to use the controller with my computer. the rumble pack even worked in n64 emulators!

I want someone to mod an SNES Ascii pad to work on the Wii so I can play all my old school games like I did when i was a bit younger. Playing them on the Virtual Console gamepad or even on the Gamucube gamepad is not as much fun at all. The virtual console controller L and R buttons are a joke and my fingers slide off the buttons too often, and the button layout of the Gamecube buttons is wierd to get used to. Plus the Ascii pad has Turbo fire buttons, perfect for games like Thunder Spirits! Try to beat Thunder Spirits without turbo! I dare you...

I still have an AsciiPad. It's not my original. I wore it down and had to buy another.

Did you guys ever check out: http://www.ppl-pilot.com/ ???

its got how to turn a standard snes controller into a gamecube wireless

You could do the same with an n64 controller.
All you would have to change would be so that it accepts the other n64 buttons (Z, C-Stick etc).

Its an idea, none the less!
