how to start *.dol on wii in gc mode

hi guys,

i am able now to boot backups on my wii. i'm also interested in the gc scene. there are emulators, mediaplayers and such stuff available. now my question is:
is it possible to start a *.dol without buying extra hardware like action replay or sd card adapter? i thought it should be possible with gcos, but i can't find a version of it on the net which offers this option.

the Wiinja GCOS special edition should support that.

burn the iso and boot it with your chipped wii (any chip works).
then you can select "boot dvd" and swap the disc.
haven´t tried it yet for myself, because my modchip hasn´t arrived yet.

i have another question:
must the .dol file on the 2. dvd be in the root of the dvd or can we choose a directory with GCOS. (don´t want to waste DVDRS)
