Default Wii Homebrew channel question...?

I have been doing some research lately on the wii homebrew channel and have a few questions if anyone could help me out. I am looking to install the homebrew channel as I own the zelda game but have recently updated my wii console to version 3.4. In reading various articles the newest firmware appears to cause problems with the homebrew channel but in all the articles I read it only causes problems if the channel existed previously on the console. I was curious is it possible to install the homebrew channel and other homebrew applications on a console running the most recent stock update (3.4)? And if so what versions of each component will I need? I believe I will need the beta2 twilight hack to boot things and the homebrew beta9 channel to get it running but correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks,
Wooger

Hey wooger,

I have 3.4 firmware on my pal wii, Yes you need the beta2 twilight hack which is only for 3.4 firmware, I installed the HBC beta 9 just this morning, But one thing I did find was that I had sd card issues, After trying about 5 times unsuccessfully I found out that sometimes you need to download a proper sd card formater for it to work, I downloaded this program and used it to format my memory card, copied over the appropriate files and it worked 1st go.
