Ok just trying to get these 2 games working on the Wii. Currently at V4.0U
Please not looking for the old load with gecko or scrub the dvd stuff.
Both discs ask to do system updates. Is there a ISo Im missing? Do you know what one? Where can it be dl? I have searched the web and this site. Just looking for what I hope will be a simple answer. Yes I have HBC installed and working, also a wad manager. I had hoped updating to 4.0U would put all the latest isos in.

Not sure what answer you're looking for. Updating to 4.0 installs general IOS updates, but some games have specific IOS updates for that particular game. I am unsure that you could find just the punch out or conduit IOS update, nor do I think they are necessary.

Are you opposed to brick blocking the update?

isnt there software that will look at the iso image or the dvd and tell you what is on it? In reading posts it looks like it tells you what iso its trying to install in the update.

If I just said yes to the update, what might happen? would it kill my HBc ?

Hi,

I was at 3.3U when I have buy Punch-out.

It updated my wii to 3.4U and HBC was still ok

I just let the kids do the update off the PunchOut disc. All still works fine.
