wii freezes in main screen
Received Wii back from a customer after it was modded more than a year ago.
The Wii starts and shows you all the channels. But after a few seconds the screen freezes and audio is also gone. Remote doesn't react anymore.
The dvd drive still works. I can insert and eject a disc. When I insert a disc after the console frreezes, it doesn't spin.
I have to keep the power button pressed for a few sec to turn off the wii.
If I leave the wii on the first screen (press a..), it doesn't freeze. Onlya few sec. after I get the main screen.
Replaced the dvd drive with a new one. Problem is still there.
Also started the wii without a dvd drive connected.
And replaced the bluetooth module.
Don't know if and how I can reset the console.
Anyone seen this before?
