is the motion plus a must?

i heard that the motion plus is used for more accurate movement. nothing special?

and what is motion plus exactly? That remote controller with that square thing behind?

Or simply that square thing?

So if the normal controller can add the motion plus? sorry for my question, i am new...

I would prefer not to use Preloader or other homebrew apps.

What options are there?

Is it IOS09 that needs installing, via WAD manager?


What will happen if the update is done off the disc?


I went from 3.2E to Wanikoko's 4.0E, so in the future should i use Wii Update Manager and replace the update with 3.2E?

To get Madworld etc working i had installed 3 IOS files while i was still on 3.2E.



So is Preloader the only way?

Hi, I was wondering if someone might be able to help me. I've got motion plus and tried the US version of TW10 which I sent through brickblocker before burning the ISO. At the moment I'm running 3.2E firmware.

I tried running the game through Gecko OS and via the wii freeloader, but neither worked. Strangely I tried to run the game straight away and it worked. However, I've got the feeling that the motionplus isn't working. It might be just me, but on TW10 I can't really tell any difference between with or without motionplus.

Do I need to update my firmware? Are there any games that verify that motionplus is working correctly?
