wii asks to update the system, when i insert a disc

Hello all!

I've got a problem. I burnt a game disc and, when i insert it, wii says: "In order to use this software, you must update your system".. I've got D2Ckey modchip, so I can't make the update. What should I do?

and how can i find out what region the game is from?

my wii has PAL system.

You got the game, so you should know the region.

I downloaded it.. and it doesn't say, what region the game is from.. :/

all of the releases will say NTSC-U, NTSC-J, PAL, US, JAP, or EUR in there somewhere.

just use an update manager or anything that modifies the ISO and they'll show you the region I think.

Also, backup your own games.
