Default New D2C Board Revision Pix Inside

Today we opened up a Brand new Wii and found a newer d2c drive
I first noticed the ribbon cable was silver instead of white, flipped over the drive and seen some new things.

Attached is a closeup of the serial port which now looks to be fully grounded out.

From what I hear D2C2 compatible chips still work. I'll post back in a few with my results.

EDIT: Yes D2Pro9 works like a charm.

Did about 5 of them with d2pro9 v2's with 2.1 and everything works great !!

Yes, this board is the same I got on my D2E dvd drive, I posted it on the Wiizard forum, as you can see below its same board just with D2E/D2C chipset change.

D2CKey also works with this drive. This drive is not D2C2.

I did a few of them a few weeks ago too. Thought they would not work so I took pics before I did the install and they worked

actually they are mixed stock ,but look identical some D2ckey works some don't
