Problem? Wii on standby, blue light from disc drive is on!

I put my wii on standby from the remote.
Orange light on the console turns on.
I leave the room and after 30 minutes I notice that the blue disc drive light is on while the console is still on standby.
No modifications on the console yet.

Should this worry me?
Its a D2C console and I already ordered a modchip and waiting to receive it, eitherwise I would have returned it already.
What is your advice? Return and have it repaired(maybe replaced by a D2C v2) or just stick with it?

There's no problem, it just means you have a message in the Messge Board.

From what I remember, that is normal, if you have it on a wireless internet connection. It is downloading updates.....
