Wii problem ... help!

hi all! this is my first post.
first off, i hav a jap Wii and i messed around with the settings ( without understanding the language -_-") and lines appear across my blank TV screen, i can still hear the sounds and feel the remotes vibrate when i move them, but i just can't see anything... can any1 help plz! thnx

You may have enabled 480p, on some tv's even though they have component inputs they don't display the 480p for the Wii. If you have component cables plugged in, unplug your system, and use the RGB input cables that came with the system, it'll autodetect them and force 480i.

If that doesn't fix it it's hard to diagnose what the problem is without seeing it first hand.
