Default DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Not Displaying Through A VDigi VD-W2 VGA Cable

Hey everyone! This is the first wii game that I've come across that doesn't display on this WII-VGA cable. My wii is set on 480p mode and is running into a 21" crt monitor. The game comes up in the disc channel (or whatever its called) but when I select start game my monitor just goes into standby yet i can hear the game running through the speakers. If I plug in the RCA cables and run it into a normal tv it displays fine. So then i was thinking, ok the game must only display in 480i mode. But then I was thinking, why is that so.. every other game from wii sports to barbie island princess (yes, before you flame me, it has some decent party games on it. No shit) to mario kart wii has run on it with no problems... I have tried the methods of changing the video modes with certain software and im having no luck.... anyone know of anything that may help me out?

Oh yeah.. my wii is PAL. the game is PAL. My system is running 3.1 firmware.

Cheers in advance.
FiendMD.
