do i have to run the wiikey disk every time

do i have to run the wiikey disk every time i want to play a different region game ?
tried a ntsc game on my pal wii with no joy so i ran it through a region converter (wiigionfree ) and it still didnt work

the game i tried was Kororinpa Marble Mania Ntsc
it shows up then goes black and stays black
also have same problem with trauma centre
tried both games on different speeds and media

when you tern it on it stays on but it also dose not work with all games

I know that Trauma center definiately does not work on PAL wii's. Check what works and what doesnt here:

Region Patcher/WiiKey/Other Modchips doesn't matter - this list tells you what works where.

PAL wiis are expensive, plus you have to live in Europe. Get a NTSC wii. you probably know someone in NA or Japan who can ship you one without import taxes
