i opened up my wii and installed wiifree on a socket.. all was great but there was an update so took my chip out to reflash it.. thing it i left the drive on the kitchen side and it got knocked onto the floor.. now the disk spins but wont recognise any disks and then stops spinning.. i have taken chip out completely and still the same so all i need to know is are there replacement drives available yet?
wow man that sucks. No i don't beleive there is a market for spare wii parts yet or even half broken wiis.
hope this teaches you some lessons.
1) Use a good modchip like Wiikey. Don't jump on the first product just because it's first.
2) only mod your wii or other things in a designated work area, not the kitchen.
the kitchen is perfect as i got those lights under the cupboards and they help you see perfectly.. any way i got another one so will keep this in hope spares will be available at one point
