I have always used TDK media - works fine for me - for both wii and GC backup's. and everything else i burn - hehehehehe

I am using verbatim dvd-r burned at 16x and all of them work without a hiccup. I also tested 2 games on maxell dvd-r burned at 8x and both works. I have a few spindles of the office depot brand dvd-r that I will have to test.

I use sony DVD (heh, thats funny, sony DVDs for Nintnedo games) just becuase I have 3 HUGE spindles laying around
