Default Black Screen After Wii Menu

Hey All currently just got the "D2" chip, burning at 4x with both nero and alcohol 120%.. I have about 40 games and about 10 of them won't work.. "Scarface" "The Simpsons" and "World Championship Poker".. the game will come up in the Wii menu.. and as soon as i click on it.. i get a black screen instead of the typical "make sure the strap is secure" blah blah.. and the game won't load...

Any Suggestions? Thanks for your time!..

Andy

Default Weird wii update problems

My wii has been messing up ever since i put the Mario Galaxy update on it. (I did the 15% trick to get MP3 working, and i have PAL wii) causing nearly all my games to try to update and fail whenever i put them in meaning i cant play them. The exception to this rule was SPM which always worked. The only way to get around it was to reflash the wiikey and then i can get some games to work (different every time) until i want to change the game and i have to reflash again. I took the wiikey out and the problem still occured, so i ruled it out as being the culprit. The new wiikey update (update blocker) has let me start playing all my old games easily, but Mario Kart stubbornly refuses to work.

Has anyone heard of anything like this? I think its a problem with my Wii's bios, but not being able to update off the game disc means im not sure how to fix it, unless when Mario Kart comes out over here, then they release the update online and that fixes it.

Does anyone know of a way to flash the wii bios chip back to factory settings? or failing that, a way to flash it off another chip.

Default Games no longer work!

I just burned a copy of Okami onto one of my sony RW+ discs and inserted it into my wii. The game would not read, so I put back in the copy of Bully that I was just playing and it no longer worked. I tried all of my games and none of them worked. The only game that would read was my original copy of SSBB. Ok so I waited about 5 mins. and restarted my Wii and now all the games work? Has this happened to anyone else?

I have a wasabi d2c.. and all my games will work so far (about 6 backups) except for Scarface. Like the guy in the post about 6 or 7 back, it would load on the game screen, then I would click it and start, and the screen would go black, no controller would turn on, and i had to manually power down each time, reset button wouldn't work. All you can do is eject the disc. I burnt another disc of scarface and it did not work. Should I download a new iso, could it had an error in it? or is it just my chip..? The other guy said he had a "D2" chip, whats that, d2key or d2pro?

I think this is the normal sound. I burn my games at 2 speed though, just to be sure.

Bully is just a loud game in terms of the drive having to read multiple areas of data. Same goes for Scarface. I haven't watched the video but I can tell you it's normal for that one to be louder.

Wimote Wiimote broken (??)

Hi folks!

One of my wiimotes seems to be half-dead. Explaining: If I point it at the sensor, it moves the cursor on the screen just like it was supposed to. But if I tilt it, letīs say, 30 degrees clockwise, the cursor tilts 30 degrees clockwise, but after a second it returns to its original position and the movement becomes all wrong. If I twist a little more afterwards, letīs say 90 degrees, the cursor turns 60 degrees and then resets to 0 again, leaving the control movement even more wrong (like, up is left, left is down and so on). OK... I then enter a game. Wii Sports for example. I can select the player, the game and everything, but cannot play. When I "racket" the ball (tennis, letīs suppose), my Mii just stays there, frozen. Press the Wii Menu button, and the cursor is upside down and the movement is all inverted.

My guess is that the accelerometers somehow are off or broken, but the camera and every button on the wii-mote are ok (as the communications with the Wii). And the question is: Anyone with the same problem discovered an easy and costless solution? Or is my wiimote dead (well, undead)?

Just to know: Wii 3.3U with Wiikey 1.9x, japanese Wiimote. Did resync in every possible way (via Wii Menu, red buttons), no lights burned in the sensor bar, same problem in every sensivity option for the wiimote. The same happens when the nunchuck is attached, but havenīt tried a game that uses both motion sensors(Wii Sports Boxing, for example). The same problem goes to every game I tested (Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 and Boom Blox... In Boom Blox I can rotate the camera by pressing B, but cannot throw the ball)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Default black screen

Hello. = )
I have a modded wii that i purchased when they first came out in America. It has been modded for several months and a problem has never occurred until now. One day i decided to play a game and when i turned it on the screen stayed black. Nothing was happening. I tried unplugging it for a little while but it did not fix the problem. I know it is turning on because the light in the wii turns on and i hear the fan turn on, but that's all that happens. Also the wiimote does not turn on either.

If anybody could possibly help me fix this problem i would greatly appreciate it. Any information that you could provide me with would be great. Thank you very much in advance for helping me. = )
