Help, Wii stopped working after installing wrong region wad
Hello. I installed a wrong region wad on my Wii that is modded with a D2pro9 v2 with a clip. I installed a Pal wad on my NTSC Wii. I turn it on and it goes to the Press A warning screen thingy, and i press A, it just stays black. Is there anyway i can save my wii without a savemii?

You may be ok, just download the recovery disc for NTSC region and it should be able to boot it and restore your wii. Sorry I dont have the link

Problem with Wifi channel since upgrading to HBC 1.0
I have a D2Sun which I had professionally installed about 2 months back, and it was working perfectly with Homebrew Channel 0.9. I updated to 1.0, and suddenly the Wifi Channel won't work. I tend to play Mario Kart Wii quite a bit, and either it just won't connect, or it connects then immediately disconnects. I'm usually able to log onto WiiShop without a problem, and the Opera Browser has no problems whatsoever. I've gotten the 91010 error message multiple times.
Has anyone else had this issue? I formatted the Wii memory and tried connecting to MKW Wifi without any Homebrew channel and again with the 1.0.1 update, but it still wouldn't work. I figure it was a bricking type issue, the system wouldn't be working at all. This seems to specifically be a problem with Wifi channel, as playing games off-line works fine.
Oh, and I'm running Firmware 3.3 for the US version.

Hi all, Im new to the forums here lol, My unmodded wii is having a disc drive problem. What happens is that i put a cd in, and it goes in, but in about 5 seconds comes back out, then goes back in,5 more seconds, then completely ejects it. It is very frustrating, and i do not know what to do. Here is a video that shows exactly whats happening to me
Any help would be awsome, you have no idea, lol.

I am having the same issue but if I tap on the Wii after inserting the disc it may keep it in and read it. I think it may be out of alignment but need to know what to do since it is chipped.

Having a sound problem. Starts off sound is great, but within a minute, the sound starts getting distorted and quieter progressively until no sound comes out at all within a couple min. All games load and run fine and wiimote sound works fine. Not a cable or tv problem as different cables and tv's all perform exactly the same. Has anyone had any problems with soundcards going bad or anything? Thanks.

big problem
Would be greatly appreciated if anyone can help me.. i attempted to install homebrew. got that installed then installed some more things and remembered that this one file ios_2 or something couldn't install so i kept going and installed up to the preloader, then i was stupid and thought ios_2 was a very important step i missed. so i formatted my wii so i can have a fresh start at soft modding again. unfortunately it backfired and now i can't even get into the home screen for wii with all the default channels. it automatically brings me into the homebrew channel. i try to exit it to get back to the main screen but it just keeps sending me back to the homebrew channel. it reads my sd card with whatever apps i put on it previously. can anybody direct me on what to do. is there any apps i can put on my sd to boot up some sort of uninstalling or formatting app that can get rid of everything and just make my wii back to normal so i can start fresh. please help..
