Talking WII-CLIP V5 ---> Support WASABI chip

WII-CLIP V5 ---> Support WASABI chip

The V5 CLIP for wasabi looking:

just need solder the wasabi to the V5 clip

and solder 1 wire for point "F"

then finish!

link: www.wii-clip.com

The new WII-CLIP install diagram: need solder 1 wire from CLIP "F" to WII motherboard "F".

And 2 steps for setup your wasabi chip correctly :

Step #1
If your WII is DMS/D2A chipset, need short the "DMS" jumper of V5 CLIP
If your WII is D2B chipset, need short the "D2B" jumper of V5 CLIP
If your WII is D2C chipset, don't need do anything.

Step #2
If your WII is USA version, need short the jumper "1" of WASABI chip
If your WII is PAL version, need short the jumper "2" of WASABI chip
If your WII is JAP version, don't need do anything.

Looks easy enough

Only issue is the length of CLK being fixed.

It looks pretty nice. It's probably an easier sell with a d2ckey, however.

You could make the CLK wire longer if you wanted to. Just Solder a wire from the chip then cover it with electrial tape before installing it to the clip. Then solder the other end to the clip.

This thing is mainly for people that dont wanna solder so Im a little sad to see that you need to solder. The Wasabi team need to solve the Wasabi clk problem also.

Isnt there a alternative point on the D2C chip for the F point?

Nice to see the clip has a hole for the air vent.. but the cardboard bit for protecting shorts doesn't? Point in that.

Wii clip is for noobies. So it comes with everything you need- even though the cardboard might be overkill.

The D2pro and Argon versions have 4 stripped wires ready to go in the pack.

This is just a "hole" left in the market for the "Wii-Clip V5 Wasabi HoleMaker"

EDIT: My mistake ... altough we need a specific Wii-Clip version for each modchip, the hole is the same for all, so we don't need specific hole makers versions So ... just changed the name to:
"Wii-Clip UNIVERSAL HoleMaker" ... but CAUTION ! the Universal HoleMaker is designed with just the cardboard on mind - do not try to make holes in the flex circuit of Wii-Clip for D2CKey, D2Pro versions, etc. wait for them to correct their mistake and re-design those versions, so the hole is exposed
