Default update

after no luck i removed the 47uf cap and just tried the long clk wire and it seemed to work. i have a green light now but it wont read any burned games . iam using imgburn and memorex-dvr and verbatim dvd-r and +r . cant seem to get my wii to see backups. do i need to solder the jumper pins on the wasabi to usa like the install diagram shows. i read that it didnt matter. default is no jumper and that is labeled japan

If your WII is a USA version that you have to create the bridge on '1'. You have to do it on the wiiclip as well. They have updated their website with the correct info some days back.

Default I think...

well, I haven't proved it, but I know that High Frequency signals can't travel by wires with angles higher than 45 degrees, try to don't bend the cable more than 45 degrees each time. I repeat that I haven't proved it in this case, but yo must prove it friends.

If you mean the mod won't work with bent wires, then nope.

Most of mine are angled to around 90 degrees right angles to make the install neat and that doesn't appear to affect it.

I did do a test install with the wires just going up and over (like a rainbow shape) that gave exactly the same result as a tidied up bent wire install.

This is really nonsense... perhaps you should first read some books or follow some education on electronics before making a fool of yourself.

On the frequencies we are discussing here, this is simply not the case.

Hi,
my name is Francesco. First of all I apologize for my english (I'm an italian boy).
Here's the problem (I hope You can help me!): I've installed the wasabi chip on my D2B wii consolle, I've made all the passages: I soldered all the pins, I cut the four lines the instruction (on the wii-clip site) said to cut and I didn't solder the F points. Obviusly I connect the wii-clip.
The problem is that if I insert a burned disc it doesn't start instantly but I must turn off the consolle , turn on it and finally it reads the disc. Sometimes when I play for a long time, when I return to home, it freezes and I must turn off the wii.
Why do I have this problem? And can this problem create problems to my wii?I made all the passages, the chip's led is green, but I don't understand why the consolle has this problem. Please help me!

The solution is easy, i change clk wire to another more longer.

When wire is a little more shorter wasabi don't boot.

I have some test for change position of clk wire and wasabi don't boot.

This is more easy solution i think.
