To begin with, i suggest posting our Top5 for this all time classic console. I know that 5 are not enough.. But let's give it a try ;p

1.The legend of zelda - A link to the past

I still emulate this game now and then and consider it to be my favourite game of all consoles/time.

2. Super mario world

Introduced a next generation of platforming and is always "roaming" in my psp ;p

3. Donkey kong Country 1+2

I can't actually choose between those 2 since 1 is the original and we owe respect but 2 is a hell lot better in my opinion...

4. Castlevania - Dracula X

Loved the series and used to play Castlevania adventure since the Game boy era. This is my favourite on Snes (or Vampire's kiss? : | )

5. Super mario kart

When it comes to Vs racing this is the first bit of info that comes to mind. I used to play battle mode for hours and still love it on my DSlite.

Sooooooooooo many games follow or can replace some in this top5 (metroid p.e.) but i made up my mind

You?
Nice......but my top 5 SNES games is...

1. Killer instinct

2. Super Mario all stars

3. Diddy Kong (forgot the rest of the description)

4. Mario Kart

5. Tales Spin

Super Mario World - Some of the best level design ever
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - Great character design and art direction
Sanrio World Smash Ball - I know I know but the multiplayer was awesome
Yoshi's Safari - You play as Mario riding around on Yoshi blasting Goombas in the face with a bazooka. What more do you need. Oh, and it has pretty innovative coop.
Zelda: A Link to the Past - Sweetness incarnate.

The SNES is my all time favorite console.

1: Super Mario World (Best 2D platformer ever)

2: ISS Deluxe (Fantastic football game)

3: Castlevania IV (The music alone is worth the money back in the day)

4: Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Best arcade game played on SNES and one of the best conversions)

5: Super Ghouls N Ghosts (Music, and fantastic gameplay and obscure levels)

Other memorable games : Secret of Mana, pocky & Rocky, U.N Squadron, Axelay, Darius Gaiden, Mickeys Magical Quest, NHL series ( the only EA franchise you can respect )

SNES is the best system ever made. J-RPGS in their prime along with Platformers, and tons of other great titles

The majority of people on this forum if I remember rightly are from the UK. Myself included and Ninty never brought us the joys of Mario RPG. I've played through it on an emu though now and yeah, quality game.

As for my top 5
1. Zelda - A Link to the Past
2. Mario Kart
3. Killer Instinct
4. Super Mario World
5. Donkey Kong Country 1
