The makers of FlatMod have posted a YouTube video showing their newly released FlatProg programmer in action.

FlatProg is now shipping at Spainsellers and will hit other resellers soon so get your order in early!

- FLATPROG has two different ways to be used :

1. Powering with any USB port device like PC,wii,mediaplayer,etc...

2. Powering directly from the wii's flat cable (do not use usb power then)

Once you've powered the Flatprog,connect your Flatmod and press button,wait until the led flicks slower and done!

So you reprogram the flatmod chips without a PC?

Looks like you first have to program the programmer and then it will be used as stand-alone. If so, it's realy handy to reflash my huge pile of old chips.

No, The Flatprog is preprogrammed only thing is to connect the Flatmod to the Flatprog press button and programming of Flatmod is started, when finish just connect en new Flatmod and press again the program button. very easy

and future updates ? upload to programmer and then as 'now' ?

No Programmer is updateble also

I am guessing the team has done this so that others like drivekey team dont copy their code
