ummmmmmm........no.....argon don't use the same code as d2pro......they "emulate"....multiple codes from wiikey, d2pro, d2ckey and the wasp chip.
In other words, a lil mixture of sugar, spice and everything nice with a touch of BAM!!!.....lol
Also....you don't necessarily need an oscillator to reduce the number of wires for a chip. Take for example, the D2E-A9 chip....the 32 pin version use a converter, not a oscillator, same goes for the A9+ too.
