Wonder if this HDD would work with USB Laoder: http://www.softchoice.com/catalog/pr...R=T36154_US_EN

The compatibility list is short right now & I don't want to make a purchase with shipping cost too unless the drive will work. Any opinions about this drive? Thanks!

You did install CIOS rev 09, right?

Do you have the "IOS36-64-v1042.wad" file in the root directory of the SD card in the Front SD slot of the Wii?

If you don't and can't get the wad, use the Network install if your Wii has an internet connection.

Is your Wii connected to the internet?

If it is you will have to use the "Network Install" of CIOS rev 09 as the wad file cannot be legally distributed.

If you have a game that contains that wad you can use "WUFE" to extract the updates from the game and put them on your SD card.

You can use the USB Loader to install games or on of the various WBFS apps to that.

There is no way to just drag and drop.

The drive must be formatted with the WBFS file system before any games can be installed.
