OK, I have two questions:

1. Will the Nintendo Updater accept this as updated or will it try to load anything when started?

2. When we start to heavily modify the Firmware, wont the next update maybe brick our wii? It sees Version "3.4" and tries to update for it. But the components are not "3.4"......

It will still be the same version you have now so it will try to update.

Why would you still need to update officially? And no, it won't brick the Wii, it will just overwrite the already installed IOS's but you will loose the old ones so you'll be screwed and left without homebrew.

2 Questions: will this work on a PAL wii? and if it adds the latest ios why would the wii still try to update?

Is there any chance that the update on a new game in the future could cause problems?

It works on Pal, and I just tried it, it works fine! Can't see what changed with the Shop Channel though...

@joshysquashy: They gave the "Controllers needed"-Icons a own page instead of showing the icon in the gamedetails as before. You have now a button that leads to the new page where the icon was *g*

I find it laughable that this requires an update, especially as the Wii Shop is really just a series of web pages that you can even view on a computer with the right user agent (or at least you used to, now they have probably implemented further checks).

Perhaps there are more features planned for the shop, and they will implement them soon.

I can confirm Tona's version works fine on PAL 3.2E.
The Shop channel works and IOS51 was installed ok with the trucha patch applied.

I rented "Wii Music" two nights ago. I believe it was released with the 3.4 update. I just ripped it and put brick blacker on it so I can't say this is for sure.

I can't seem to get these to install. When trying through homebew channel(latest version)I either get an error that says "net_init faileD: -116", or when it does initialize the network, I get "failed to allocate temp buffer for encrypted content. size was 2147793144." Firmware is 3.2U. Anyone know a way around this? I have tried the one that does both at once yet. I may do that if no one has any ideas about this one.

EDIT: Got the one by Tona to work. Thanks for these!! I wonder if this is easily reversed if need be?

EDIT2: I thought it was going to work, but it got IOS51 installed, but not the shop channel. Still fighting with that one. Gets to content 10/18 and then fails.

EDIT3: Finally got it installed. Had to go through it like 3 times. Took forever, but finally got it
