I just installed the D2Lite chip into 2 Wii's. And both chips don't work right when it comes to the Ejecting and starting of the drive. Both Wii's have the D2C hip. And I tried the alternate 6 Wires, and then did the 9 wires. And sometimes the drive will take a minute or two to work. And sometimes I have to reset a few times. I used the Hacked firmware. So I am sending these Crappy chip's back and I will try the WiiKey v2. So I recomend NOT getting the D2Lite chip at this time!!!!!!!

The Wiikey v2 is exactly the same chip.

It sounds like an install issue - I've fitted about 20 D2Lite so far and they're all working perfectly.

ive done 8 so far and no probs whatsoever with d2b and d2c (9 wire on d2c)
