What is WUFE?

With this Tool you can insert any Wii DVD Game and extract all the Update files from the Game. i.e System WAD files, IOS files and extracts them to an SD card inserted in the 'Front SD Slot'

Why I need this?

It is just a fast and simple way to get these files and requires no ripping or copyright keys.

It is also part of a suite of soon to be released tools which will add features to Gecko OS and improve game compatibility.

Can I use this to manually install an update in a person's Wii? I have a Wii that cannot connect to the internet thats using 2.2U and wanted to see if I can extract the update from SSBB and install it. I dont have a modchip in this Wii, thats why I cant update it with a backup.

For sake of argument, let's say your original SSBB is still sealed for preservational purposes, and that is why you can't use it to update the Wii.

I know I'm not fully answering the question, but if you can't use the extracted update, why don't you rent a game that has the update you want? Or even easier would be to find a way to temporarily connect it to the internet, even if only once.

As a side note, why DO you want the update? There haven't really been any important changes for the user.

Oups he says that this tool will be combined with the GeckOS.
As we all know GeckOS is a trucha signed loader + WUFE is ripping of update files = A loader that tricks a game that it has the latest updates installed but of course has them copied on SD and not on the Wii

So this is my imagination LOL
