Well, this is somewhat frustrating for people who do not have programmers - why did the d2pro team even bother saying it has dvd update capabilities when any relevant update can only be done via programmer? Kinda scummy to trick people like that....
i totally agree with Avenger. What is the D2Pro Team doing? Their quality control must be extremely improved before they release firmware updates to the public! Despite this stupid misstake of the team I still prefer this chip as it offers stability. Last week I made attempts to install an Argon chip and the POS was dead and the Wii console refused to start. Before you ask. YES! I am an experienced installer with many successfull installs.
Out of all the wii chips so far they have been the most consistent.

It does not work. Its just a 1 revision firmware rollback.
Message for D2pro developers: What is wrong with an optional "force model override" or optional legacy firmware....it would take not even 5min to whip up!
