Interesting. I'd be curious to see whether or not it will have problems out the gate with D2C2 drives like some of the other solutions have, and if so how fast will updates/support be provided.
Also interested in seeing if they will add D2E support rapidly or not.
Yes, it's definitely based on the Wasabi design. It's some kind of Wasabi clone. But I am very content about the original Wasabi 2 and their development team and support, so I'll stay with them for sure.
I've requested a sample, ill do a review if they send one my way. Seems like the wasabi2 so I am skeptical of it.

Why are you skeptical about it ? Because it seems to be a clone of the Wasabi 2 and you don't like clones or because you have bad experience with Wasabi 2 ?
I think Wasabi 2 is the best chip at the moment because its stability and compatibility on all Wii's. And of course the good support of the development team behind Wasabi.
Yes, and the fact that it does not support D2E drives sucks.
I think there are 2 serious modchips on the market for all Wii drives and those are the D2Pro v2 and Wasabi 2. I prefer Wasabi 2, but D2Pro is not a bad choice.
