I think Wasabi 2 is the best chip at the moment because its stability and compatibility on all Wii's. And of course the good support of the development team behind Wasabi.
the fact that its a clone and we dont support clones, we even still stock the authentic wiikeys. Our wasabi2 shipment is also due any day now by request from users for us to stock it, but I personally do prefer the d2pro9 just because when I do email for support I get it right away where as wasabi has never come through to respond with a solution to us (we used to be resellers for them at that time), but luckily there arent any problems with this round of chips they released unlike the first version that was very buggy, so we're taking a chance with them again but in a lower quantity.

[edit] Our wasabi2 stock came in and it is very solid, and the team has responded to us a few times now, looks as though they are starting to get things right now. [/edit]

Ok, that's clear. Well, Team Wasabi gave me very good support regarding the issues I had with their v2 chip on some D2C2 drives and these are solved now. I have to admit they do not always respond immediately, but till now I always have had an answer. I haven't ever used the v1 of their chip, but I know this version gave some problems. So I understand your point of view.

I have been using this W4pro now on d2c and d2c2 drives and all run without any problems did about 30 of them.

Realy a great chip for a great price.
The makers are claming to add D2E support in October.
