Hey guys at Wiinewz.

How about asking them if they ever gonna fix the eject issue on their D2Pro9 rev.2 chips?

Sitting here with 10 useless chips.

Thanks

D2CPro and all the other 9 wire chips out there were DlCK EATING ( DlCK EATING = COPYING ) Wasabi's idea from the beginning. Why is everyone bashing their creative innovations as if they have or had nothing to bring to the table?

I think there is a lot of Wassabi bashing because they made big claims about their product which is very buggy.
Did they really need to make there chip compatable with every drive? I wouldnt put a higher priced modchip in a drive that can be modded for a fraction of the price (why put a d2pro in a drive that takes a wiikey) , so it seemed kinda pointless. Oh, and the support they offer (does it exist) is very poor.
I recognise that they are skilled (much much much higher than me) but they are not delivering HIGH quality product and until they can deliver promises and updates rapidly then i think wassabi bashi will continue.
I think thats the basic answer to you question buddy

Grasshopper that looks before he jumps will not jump into the mouth of the frog.

I made that up btw.
Some of us knew about it but never released the news... like I posted earlier. Just because you have done it doesn't mean someone else hasnt.

Basically a D2CKey converted to a D2Pro. Ahh, my bad I misunderstood. I was under the impression that it was an update for the 31 wire method.

And the first to announce it wins the race, Wasabi also has proof via Oz's videos first too. (I’m not a Wasabi fan but that’s the truth)

At least it was a simple fix and way before they hit the mainstream.

Yeah, i mean if wasabi announces it first, and then D2Pro releases it way before them, who is the winner? Wasabi obviously. Where the heck did you get that logic?

Now wait a second, I'm with TurboJ on this one...

ozmodchips has already proved that the Wasabi 2 works on D2E:

WiiNewz asked the D2Pro to comment on their D2E compatibility. This is their response...

We will release the d2c2 JTAG update for d2pro next week, and we will
also start shipping D2E compatible D2Pro next week.
Hasn't the Wasabi v2 already been released? While D2pro's D2E Compatible chips won't ship until next week. Doesn't that mean Wasabi wins the D2E race?

Slightly confused here. Can someone clarify?
