The older multi-wire d2c solutions work by directly patching address,
while watching the data/address bus, reason for so many wires, and
the smallest change in the firmware inside causes all the address locations
to move, making the original d2c solution timing fail to patch the correct
locations.

All it says on their site is that they know what has been changed it doesn’t say they have cracked it??? If they told XiaNaix that then why would they not advertise it on their site????

Also why have they posted this info on D2CKey and not D2PRO site, because if they do find a solution it won't be nine wires but probably an update for their 30 wire mod again? Since they said before that they cannot reduce it to 15 because of hardware changes I’m betting they release an update for D2CKey first with 30 wire then start working on the 15 wire for D2PRO. If the door is shut they why has XiaNaix said expect a 9 wire solution soon? Sounds like Chinese whispers.

As far as I am concerned it is still a rumour as knowing what to fix and actually fixing something are two different things. The race is still on as its not over until a FW/mod reaches the public hands.

I say great work team D2Ckey. I hope you release a fix for both D2Ckey and D2pro. Still only believe it when I see it.

I just dont like how they conduct themselves and how they do things....they come off as very cocky and they always bash their competitors then go around and copy their work and claim they did it "better" ...wow what a team eh...when I first got into wii modding I was considering getting an argon/infectus 2 chip but the way they act just turned me off...it's not very professional slander other chips and act like their product is the next best thing since sliced bread....in other words...they are a bunch of hypocrites....

Well their marketing and spokesperson sucks. Both are not part of team Infectus. Making aquisations that they solely rip other people's code and act like it's theirs is a bit out of proportion. They only ripped wasabi's flash and openly admitted it. The actel firmware is still theirs. They did nothing different then the d2pro did only d2pro is claiming it's their own firmware. That being said they pioneered with lots of stuff you can't even imagine including the first 13 wire d2c chip. Also they do a great deal for other developers with their ways to dump and flash nand chips.
But then again a lot of people find themselves cool around here bashing the argon with wild arguments. Must feel like they are important or something. Too bad many of the n00bs read it though and actually believe that nonsense though. Most of this crap comes from people that haven't contributed one bit to the scene.

Think this will be a new mod altogether or will it just be an update?

I just bought my wii yesterday, haven't opened it up yet. I'm pretty sure it is one of the new ones as someone else said LU341 didn't work with their mod.

Ive been speaking with them as well, and was told similar information, so its not a rumour. Most the time the information they tell us does not go on their website for a while.

1. Things we can't imagine? (more than 1 example?)
2. Their ways to dump and flash NAND chips seems to suck ass, a proper firmware still needs to be written
3.What makes u so different from those people that bash the argon with wild arguments?
