the scrubbing just overwrites the unused data areas on the disc. It is, to all intents, just the same as the normal disc but with a different form of rubbish data in the unused areas. The replacement data being compressable.

Until then, you can make it work using Wine.
Here it's the way under Ubuntu 8.04 :

1/ Download WiiScrubber
2/ Get key.bin
3/ Install "Wine" (for this you can use any package installer from linux like Synaptic)
3/ Create a Directory where you'll put WiiScrubber & key.bin
4/ Launch a "Terminal"
5/ Browse in the "Terminal", the Directory that you created in number 4
Use du command : "cd your_directory"
6/ write into the "Terminal" : "wine WIIScrubber.exe key.bin"
7/ It Works
