If your console is not a JAP console it will want to reinstall the channels unless you edit the brawl iso to not install the updates using trucha and editing the _update.inf file

it is possible that when (if) the wii menu is updated for ios37, that any channels signed with trucha will stop being recognized by the wii as valid, causing the wii to no longer boot. Thus you would not be able to update any software, play any games, or do anything. I hope that this is the answer that you were looking for.

It has nothing to do about it.
I own an NTSC console, if I'll use the channel remover to remove my original US channels, would they be reinstalled by the US SSBB update?

I assume you are using a JAP Wii.

This version of channel remover will actually remove the dup channels.

Once the channels are removed, the US Brawl will attempt to reinstall them the next time you play unless you are using the edited version designed not to install them.

If your using a US console, I don't know why you would want to remove the US Forecast and News Channels unless you did it by accident.

If that's the case then US Brawl will want to reinstall the channels since they are part of the Wii and cannot be normally deleted.
