its $3.99 for a 50ft roll at Radioshack. So, You will have alot left over for other projects.

Or just strip some from an old IDE or Floppy drive cable. They're the perfect size for this kind of installation.

I personally am not going to use a quick solder install. I would imagine it to be very difficult to remove if a new solution is developed.

Default desoldering

I dont know why everyone worries about desoldering...
Do yourself a favor and buy some flux, a vacuum pump and some desoldering braid and you can desolder anything. (you can get all that for well under 5$ and it will last a very long time)

What about it? Are you asking if PAL games from one region will work on a PAL Wii from another region? If thats what you meant then yes it will work. The only real problem your gonna have is that it wont work (for now) from PAl to NTSC and vice versa.
